The valley of Flowers, a natural wonder, declared as protected national Park, came into lime light only in the 1930s. The vibrancy of colours and fragrance that is found in abundance here is what allures tourists from all over the world. This unique rock garden, the Valley of Flowers, of Garhwal is full of the most fascinating, fabulous and rich variety of flowering herbs. According to the legends, the Valley of Flowers has been associated spiritually with the name of ''Hanuman'', the legendary hero of Ramayana, the great Indian epic. This itinerary is specially designed for those who would like to combine adventure and beauty of nature.

Day 1: Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International airport our airport representative will receive and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

Morning half-day city tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat- the Mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and drive past <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7J','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Red Fort</a>.Afternoon half day city tour of New Delhi visiting President House,<a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'PTH','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Parliament House</a> (House of Representatives) and <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7M','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">India Gate</a> - War Memorial (stop for photography). Visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7K','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Qutub Minar</a> , 72.55 meters, high Victory Tower and proceed onto <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'BHT','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Bahai Temple</a> (lotus temple). Also visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7L','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Humayun's Tomb</a> built of red sandstone, the first substantial example of the Mughal architecture and Laxmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu temple built by the Birlas, leading Indian industrialists.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Haridwar

Morning transfer to New Delhi Railway station to leave by Shatabdi Express for Haridwar. Arrive and transfer to Rishikesh and check-in at hotel.Day at leisure to visit Haridwar. After Dinner meet the crew and tour leader for a briefing on the trekking trip.

Day 4: Haridwar - Rishikesh

Early morning drive to Joshimath (1875 mtrs.)(9-10 hrs.drive) stay at hotel. Of special scenic interests are orchards of apples, appricots, peaches, lemons, spread all over the route.Overnight stay.

Day 5: Rishikesh

After early breakfast drive to Govindghat(1828 mtrs.) (01 hrs.drive). Arrive and start trek to Ghangaria (3048 mtrs.)(5-6 hrs.trek)-a small hamlet situated on the confluence of Alaknanda & Laxman Ganga. The entire trek is along the roaring Laxman Ganga. Stay overnight at Camp.

Day 6: Rishikesh - Joshimath

After breakfast trek to Valley of Flowers (4-5 hrs.trek). The valley is surrounded by the river Pushparati and small streams is about 10 kms. In length and 2 kms in width at the height of 3500-3900 mtrs. After encountering rare flowers e.g. Brahm Kamal, Blue Poppy, Potentilla and hundreds of other varities back to Ghangaria (4-5 hrs. trek).Overnight at Camp.

Day 7: Joshimath

After breakfast trek to Hemkund(4329 mtrs) one of the finest high latitude lakes in the area and pilgrimage place for sikhs as well as Hindus. On a clear day one can see the panoramic view of mountain peaks and the valley. A crystal clear lake is surrounded by four peaks. One can encounter some of the flowers on this strech as well. After exploring the area trek down to Ghangaria (3 & half - 4 hrs.trek).Overnight at Camp.

Day 8: Joshimath - Govindghat

Morning trek down to Govindghat(5-6 hrs.trek) and from there drive to Badrinath (3133 mtrs.) one of the four most important pilgrimage for Hindus (2 hrs.drive).Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Govindghat - Ghangaria

Morning drive to Auli (3030 mtrs.) the newest and the best ski spot, with 500 mtrs.long ski-lift, the longest in the country with its 5 kms. Long and 2 kms wide slope. From Auli one can see Mt. Nananda Devi (7717 mtrs), and other peaks and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Ghangaria

Morning drive to Haridwar (8-10 hrs. drive).Enroute Joshimath. Arrive and transfer to Railway Station at Haridwar to leave by Shatabdi Express at 1700 hrs.Arrive at Delhi and transfer to the hotel.

Day 11: Ghangaria - Valley of Flowers

Day at leisure.Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Valley of Flowers - Ghangaria

Morning after breakfast full day visit to Agra to witnessthe World famous <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a> , built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the year 1652 as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to create this jewel. Agra Fort - four successive rulers helped create this massive fort. Tomb of Itmad-ud-daullah- built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.Overnight stay at hotel.
