This tiny strip of land on the western coast of India, is fondly called as God's own Country! And surely it is as one realizes upon reaching Kerala. Lush green fields, dense forests, rivers, vast sea coast with the calm life on the back waters and auyrveda and Yoga healings, are enough to lure any traveller to Kerala. Day 1: Mumbai

Upon arrival at Mumbai, our representative will meet you at the airport and assist you check in at the hotel chosen by you.

Day 2: Mumbai

Mumbai, the economic capital of India, is known as the city that never sleeps. Mumbai India's most dynamic and cosmopolitan city, with frenetic lifestyles and a multicultural society. People from all over the country come here to fulfill their dreams thus making Mumbai a big melting pot of all the cultures, traditions and languages. This confluence of varied cultural currents and cross currents has given Mumbai a unique position of the most multi-ethnic city of India.

 
 
Post breakfast in the morning, transfer for the sightseeing of this city. Visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AFZ','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Elephanta caves</a>, on the Gharapuri islands away from the city. The caves have some of the most beautiful carvings of Hindu deities. Later take a photo tour of some of the most famous and great <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AFY','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Buildings of Mumbai</a> like the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'GWI','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Gateway of India</a>, Victoria Terminus, Rajabai tower and the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AGE','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Prince of Wales Museum</a>. Also visit the museum.
 
You may also visit the Dhobhi Ghat the largest clothes washing place in Asia.
 
 
Evening free to visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AFW','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Beaches of Mumbai</a>. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Mumbai - Kochi

Today take a morning flight to Kochi (Cochin), the commercial capital of Kerala. Cochin is a major port on the west coast of India. It is a beautiful city set on a cluster of islands surrounded by sparkling blue lagoons and backwaters. Colonial Bungalows, an old <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AJ9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Jewish Synagogue</a>, <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AG9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Chinese Fishing Nets</a>, the oldest European Church in India, a medieval Portuguese Palace, all reflect Kochi's historical links. Mattanchery Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555, the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AJ9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Jewish Synagogue</a> built in 1568, St.Francis church built in 1503, Bolgatty Palace and <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AI9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Hill Palace</a> Museum are some of the tourists favorite spots.

 
 
Also visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AG9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Chinese Fishing Nets</a> which were introduced centuries ago and are still in use. Overnights stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Kochi

Today post breakfast in the morning transfer to the hill station of Kerala. Munnar. Actually the whole of Kerala is full of greenery but Munnar, has tinge of crispy chill sue to its location on the hills.

 
 
Munnar has many spice plantations due to the weather. Upon arrival visit the hills and take a spice plantation tour.
 
Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Kochi - Munnar

Munnar is a place to take a vacation. With beautiful greenery and the best weather in the area, Munnar is the tourists paradise. Today take a tour of the coffee and tea plantations. Later overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 6: Munnar

Morning leave by road to Thekkady (Periyar). The drive to Thekkady itself is enchanting as the road winds through tranquil countryside, rich plantations and thick jungles. Periyar is famous for the Elephant Sanctuary and again the spice plantations.

 
 
Arrive at Thekkady and check at hotel. Relax for the later part of the day and enjoy the natural surroundings. Overnight at stay.

Day 7: Munnar

Post breakfast at the hotel in the morning, take a boat trip inside the sanctaury where you can site various animals prominent of those are elephants. You can see elephants in their most natural habitat, often seen bathing in the lake.

 
After the enjoyable experience, back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8: Munnar - Thekkady

Post breakfast in the morning, transfer to another exoctic location of Kerala, Kumarakom. This place amidst the mountains has serene atmosphere. A beautiful and calm lake of Kumarakom is a delight to watch and take a boat ride on.

 
 
Upon arrival at Kumarakom, transfer to the hotel. Take a boat ride on the lake and then overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Thekkady

Post breakfast in the morning transfer for the famous Bird Sanctuary of Kumarakom. At the sanctuary, you may witness the rarest of the birds found in India. If you are in luck, you may also site some of the rare migaratory birds coming to the sanctuary.

 
 
Later in the afternoon transfer to the jetty point from where you can take the famous back water tour. Upon arrival get on to the house boat. These houseboats are known as Kettuvallam in the local dialect and are made out of logs of Jackfruit trees.
 
 
The house boats will take you to a different world altogether where you may only experience serenity and calm atmosphere all around. Meal and overnight stay on board.

Day 10: Thekkady

In the morning while on the house boat you can witness the life of the locals on the banks of the backwaters, which is the virtual life line of the people there. Late in the afternoon reach Alleppey, the last point of the back waters trip.

 
 
Later from Alleppey, drive down to Kovalam. Kovalam is one of the most famous beaches of India. The Kovalam beach which is hardly 30 minutes away from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, is the longest beach of Kerala in crescent shape. The soothing sand, the cool breeze and the beautiful sea, is the best place to relax.
 
 
Upon arrival check in at hotel and relax on the sea beach.

Day 11: Thekkady - Kumarakom

Post breakfast in the morning, relax on the beach.

 
Kovalam beach offers many other options for relaxation such as the Ayurvedic massage parlours and Yoga classes. To top all the wonderful sea cuisine to cheer one's palate is always there.
 
 
The nights on the beaches are enlivened with the traditional Kathakali dance performances and various other folk forms of art performed by the local artists. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12: Kumarakom

Spend your days reveling in the natural beauty of Kovalam besides enjoying some of the best Ayurvedic treatments that benefit both body and soul. Also enjoy your days full of the sun, sand and water at the beaches. Indulge in exciting water sports or simply laze around on the pristine beaches of Kovalam. Overnight at the hotel

Day 13: Kumarakom - Alappuzha

Spend a relaxed morning on the beach before driving to the Trivandrum airport to board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai transfer to the International airport for onward destination.
