From the splendid carved Dravidian temples of south India, there is a drastic change in the surroundings once you reach the island of Andaman. The luxurious forests and the unexploited beaches lined with historically important monuments are the places of tourist interest in Port Blair. As the flight approaches Port Blair, an interspersed bunch of islands come in view. It actually seems as if some emeralds have been thrown out of a beautiful necklace, floating on this vast blue lagoon! Splendid beaches of soft white sands with foamy roaring waves kissing them lightly, the vast mangrove forests spawning with infinite variety of flora and fauna, the magnificent underwater sea life and a bump into some aborigine tribes those have inhabited the islands from time unknown; is the real beauty of these islands.

Day 1: Chennai

Arrive at Chennai.Our representativve will receive you at the airport and tranfer to the hotel.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Chennai

Morning after breakfast full day excursion of Mahabalipuram to visit the shore temple on the beach, five rathas and see the rock carvings. Onto Kanchipuram The City of thousand temples. Once the capital of the Pallavas, Cholas and Vijayanagar rulers, it is considered the second holiest place in India, next only to Varanasi. Visit the Kailasanatha temple, Ekambaranatha temple, Sri Kamakshi temple. Overnight stay at hotel at Chennai.

Day 3: Chennai - Port Blair

Morning departure transfer from Hotel to airport to leave by air for Port Blair.Arrive and transfer from airport to Hotel. Afternoon visit Corbyn's Cove Beach, a palm fringed clean and uncrowded beach an ideal place for swimming and sun bathing. Evening visit Son at Lumiere at Cellular Jail, a show giving an insight to the history of the freedom movement.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Port Blair

Morning visit to Sippighat Agricultural Farm, spread over an area of 80 acres where experiment are conducted for improvement of spices like clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and pepper. The farm has a variety of exotic plants and fruit trees. Also visit Anthropological Museum, Marine Museum, Catham Saw Mill, Samudrika Museum and Forest Museum. Afternoon visit to Mount Harriet at height of 1200 feet (highest peak in south Andamans)from where a kaleidoscopic view of Port Blair could be enjoyed. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Port Blair

Morning visit Bird Island (Chidiya Tapu). The southern most tip of south Andaman. Afternoon free to visit Cottage emporiums. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Port Blair

Full day visit to Red skin Island, famous for scenic beach with under water corals; ideal for swimming and snorkelling.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Port Blair

Full day visit to Jolly Buoy Island, famous for scenic beach with under water corals; ideal for swimming Snorkelling. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Port Blair

Full day visit to Cinque Island, having four dominating hillocks. These hillocks are seperated by narrow passages of thick sandy beaches.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Port Blair

Morning visit to Ross Island. The ruins of the Raj Era (British Era) still remain to be seen along with a museum.Afternoon take the Harbour Cruise around the harbour with stop at the Viper Island. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Port Blair

Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to leave for Chennai. Arrive and transfer from airport to the city to visit Museum. After early dinner transfer to Railway Station for Mysore by Kaveri Express (2130/0755).Overnight on board.

Day 11: Port Blair - Chennai

Arrive early morning and transfer from railway station to Hotel.Afternoon visit Maharaja's Palace and Museum, built in the Indo-Saracenic style, is an imposing structure standing at the heart of the city and is one of the largest of its kind in India. It was formerly the residence of Wodeyar family. The Palace is a breathtaking sight particularly on Sundays & public holidays when it is illuminated. Evening visit the Botanical Garden. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 12: Chennai - Mysore

Morning departure by surface to Bangalore. Enroute visit <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AGZ','MYQ','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Belur</a> and Halebid-the famous Hoysala temples having intricately carved sculptures and friezes and pannels. Arrive Bangalore and check-in at hotel for overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13: Mysore

Morning half day city tour of Bangalore visiting Vidhan Soudha a four storeyed spacious granite structure in the Neo Dravidian style. Housing the legislative chambers of the State Government, this 46 mtrs. high seat of the Government is Bangalore's best known landmark. Visit the Lal Bagh gardens, spread over 240 acres were laid out by Haider Ali and further developed by Tipu Sultan in the 18th century. It is one of the best botanical gardens in the country, a paradise with rare trees brought from Persia, Afghanistan and France.Afternoon departure transfer to airport to leave for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to hotel for overnight stay at Hotal.

Day 14: Mysore

Morning visit <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AFZ','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Elephanta caves</a>. Earlier known as Gharapuri, the island capital of Konkan Mauryas is famous for its beautiful caves. These caves are located on a small island of Gharapuri, in the Arabian sea near Mumbai. The caves date back to 6th century A.D. and is a collection of shrines, courtyards, inner cells, grand halls and porticos arranged in the splendid symmetry of Indian rock-cut architecture, and filled with exquisite stone sculptures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses, especially devoted to Lord Shiva. At the entrance of the cave is the famous Trimurti, the Creator: Brahma, the Protector: Vishnu and the Destroyer: Shiva all three in unison. Other than this most of the sculptures denote Lord Shiva in his various moods and forms. Afternoon visit Mumbai (Bombay) the commercial capital of India. Although Buddhist and Hindu dynasties ruled the region until around the 13th century, there were only scattered settlements on the island. Once, a sultry tropical archipelago cluster of seven islands, the British developed Bombay merging the seven islands into one. <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'GWI','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Gateway of India</a> built to commemorate the royal visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911, the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AGE','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Prince of Wales Museum</a> housing collection in the Indo Saracenic architecture, Flora Fountain, Victoria Terminus, Malabar Hill and Mani Bhavan (Gandhi Home) are the places to visit. Transfer to International airport to fly back home onward destination.
