Day 1: Chennai
Upon arrival at the international airpot of chennai, you will be met by our representative who will assist your transfer to the hotel. Relax and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning post breakfast visit the shore temples of the Mahalbalipuram. Later at noon transfer to the domestic airport to take the flight to the temple town of Madurai. Post breakfast visit the famous temple complex of Meenakshi temple. But if you are a non - Hindu you have to be satisfied by admiring the temple complex and the architecture of the building, as non - hindus are not granted the permission to visit the sanctorium of the deity. Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, it is one of the largest temple complexes in India. Evening free to visit the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Madurai
Post breakfast in the morning transfer to Thekkaddy, a small town in the state of Kerala. The road journey unwinds the beauty that nature has showered upon this place on the earth. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel and relax.
Post breakfast take the boat cruise to the one of the most famous wild life sanctuaries in India, the Periyar wild life sanctaury. Here you can see the Asian elephant in its most natural habitat. Afternoon drive to Kochi.Kochi is the economic capital of the state and one of the finest natural harbours of the world. It was once the hub of all trades from China to the middle east and upto the european countries.Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later in the evening witness the sunset in the waters of the Arabian sea. On the way you can see the age old fishing method which is a gift from the chinese to the fishermen of this part of India with huge fishing nets known as the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AG9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Chinese Fishing Nets</a>. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Thekkady
After breakfast visit some interesting places like the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AH9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Dutch Palace</a>, 1568 <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AJ9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Jewish Synagogue</a> and the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AN9','COK','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">St. Francis Church</a>. Later transfer to another famous port town of the state, The Kozhikode or Calicut as it is known.
Post breakfast drive to Mysore. Mysore was the erstwhile capital of Wodeyars, the rulers of Mysore State. Today Mysore is one of the major cities of Karnataka and has emerged as a thriving market for exotic sandalwood & incense, the Mysore silk sarees and stone-carved sculptures.
Day 7: Kochi
After breakfast visit Srirangapatnam and the Maharaja's palace. Post Lunch transfer to the capital of the state, Bangalore.Once famous as the baston of Tiger of the south, Tipu Sultan, Bangalore today is known as the Silicon valley of India. This town experiencing a pleasant climate throughout the year offers a beautiful contrast of nature and man made architecture.
Afer breakfast in the morning visit the beautiful city of Bangalore. Visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A0H','BLR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Bangalore Palace</a> and the summer palace of Tipu sultan. Post lunch check out of the Hotel.
