Rajasthan, the largest state In India areawise, was formed by merging 22 princely states and centrally administered areas of Ajmer and Mewar. Rarely would you find such diversity in people, customs , cultures, costumes, music, mannerism, dialect and cuisine as you travel through this colorful state. Geologists have traced the origin of this wonderland to the stone ages. Its ruins, relics and history speaks of the vicissitudes through which it has gone through over centuries filled with moments of glory and turbulent past. Rajasthan as a tourist destination offers a wide and varied spectrum of interesting locations, from the grandeur of its forts, palaces, Temples and havelis to the scenic beauty of lakes surrounded by the Aravali ranges to the awesome sand dunes of the vast Desert.

Day 1: Delhi

Meeting assistance on arrival at Airport in Delhi and transfer to the Hotel. ( Check-in time at hotel is 1200 hrs)

Day 2: Delhi

Following breakfast, visit Old Delhi: An ancient walled city. Here you will drive past <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7J','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Red Fort</a>, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire: <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'RGH','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Raj Ghat</a>, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid –(Friday's Closed), the largest mosque in India; and <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'CNC','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Chandni Chowk</a>, the bustling and colourful market of the old city. New Delhi : This city designed and built by the British in the 1920s - a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, and official building in Connaught Place area. <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7M','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">India Gate</a> : This arch of triumph bears the names of several thousands of Indians who lost their lives during first world war. Rashtrapati Bhavan. <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7K','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Qutub Minar</a> : 73m in height, this tower in Delhi tapers from a diameter of 15m to 2.5m. Humayuns Tomb, 1564-1572 built by Haji Begum, the widow of the second Mughal Emperor, Humayun. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Mandawa

After breakfast, drive to Mandawa, on arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Mandawa : A small town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan with a unique medieval charm. The streets are lined with richly painted houses and each town is bustling with activity. Each home and small little castle are richly painted with Shekhawati paintings known for its uniqueness and rich colours are still unimaginable that it could have been possible to exist during those old days. The tour to Mandawa is very interesting as you will come across many colorful havelis with certain unique features, which makes each haveli stand out from each other.The Chowkhani Haveli and Saraf Haveli are among the best surviving havelis of the region. Day 4: Mandawa

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner, on arrival check in at Hotel Afternoon, visit of Bikaner : A desert fortified city on the ancient caravan routes that originated from Africa and West Asia. <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A2S','BKN','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Junagarh Fort</a> , Built in 1593 A.D. by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is a formidable structure encircled by a moat and has some beautiful palaces within. These palaces, made in red sandstone and marble, make a picturesque ensemble of courtyards, kiosks and windows dotted all over the structure., Bhandasar Jain Temple , Beautiful 16th century A.D. Jain temple dedicated to the 13rd Trirthankra. An enormous archway leads to the Jormal temple in a spacious courtyard. Tar Mandir is the royal chapel where Royal weddings and births were once solemnized. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5: Mandawa - Bikaner

After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer, on arrival check in at Hotel Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Bikaner

After breakfast, visit of Jaisalmer City : The citadel city built in the 12th century is an architectural dream in yellow sandstone lying in the lonely silence of the Thar Desert, would provoke wonder, at what could have induced Jaisal, a Bhatti Prince, to settle right in the heart of a desolate desert. The forts and palaces and several superbly carved <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AE3','JSA','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Jain Temples</a> in and around Jaisalmer are all reminiscent of a gloriously history. Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli are some of the notable mansions. Afternoon excursion Sam Desert : Located 45 kms west of Jaisalmer, are the proper sand dunes and popular with camel safaris, this Jaisalmers nearest real Sahara like desert, the ripples on the wind caressed dunes create enchanting images - a photographs delight. Day 7: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, on arrival check in at the Hotel Afternoon, visit Jodhpur City: The home of the Rathore rulers - the princely state of Rajasthan. A high 10 kms long stone wall protects the well fortified city. Within, stands an imposing fort on a low range of sandstone hills, about 125 mts. above the surrounding plains. Visit Mehrangarh Fort - founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha (After whom the city is named) the Fort is intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows of exquisite designs in Red Sandstone. <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AP4','JDH','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Jaswant Thada</a> (Marble Cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh)- an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in 19th century. Government Museum - The government museum in the middle of the Umaid Public Gardens has a varied collection of textiles, miniature portraits, local crafts, weapons, the images of Jain Tirthankars etc. Overnight at Hotel

Day 8: Jaisalmer

After breakfast, drive to Udaipur, enroute visiting, Ranakpur : The <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AMT','RKR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Ranakpur Jain Temple</a> was built during the reign of the liberal and gifted Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and domes supported by over four hundred columns. The total number of columns is 1,444 all of which are intricately carved with no two being alike. The artistically carved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures at a height of 45 feet are an interesting sight. In the assembly hall, there are two big bells weighing 108 kg whose sound echoes in the entire complex. The main temple is a Chaumukh or a four-faced temple dedicated to Adinath. Day 9: Jaisalmer

After breakfast, excursion to <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ELG','UDR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Eklingji</a> and Nagda. <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ELG','UDR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Eklingji</a> :14 miles North-East of Udaipur is the village of Kailashpuri which is known for its 108 temples surrounded by a high fortified wall, the whole complex is known as Sri <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ELG','UDR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Eklingji</a> temple and has been a holy site associated with Lord Shiva since ancient times. Nagda : Close to Kailashpuri down a rough country road is believed to have been established by Nagaditya the fourth Mewar king a descendant of the Guhadatta who was born in a cave in the Aravali mountains. Afternoon City Tour: <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ATJ','UDR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">City Palace</a> Museum - grandeur and intricacy stroked all over in Granite, Marble and Mosaic displayed in the sparkling white filigreed balconies and windows, ornate arches and cupolas atop magnificent octagonal towers. Also visit Jagdish Temple <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'SKB','UDR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Sahelion ki Bari</a>. Day 10: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Following breakfast, drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel

Day 11: Jodhpur

After Breakfast, visit Pushkar City. Afternoon visit, Pushkar: Pushkar is a well-known Hindu pilgrim center. It is just 10 km from Ajmer. The Pushkar lake and the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ALZ','PKR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Brahma Temple</a> (see picture) are the most important sites here. Pushkar is better known for the cattle fair. Pushkar is among the five dhams or pilgrimages that are held in high esteem by Hindus, the others being Badrinath, Puri, Rameswaram, and Dwarka. The <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ALZ','PKR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Brahma Temple</a> is the most important temple here and is, in fact, the only <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ALZ','PKR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Brahma Temple</a> of India. It is interesting to note that Brahma is not worshipped, even though he is one of the Holy Trinity of Hinduism. After visit proceed by surface to Jaipur. On arrival checkin at hotel. Day 12: Jodhpur - Ranakpur

Following breakfast, visit <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AT2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Amber Fort</a>, ascent to the fort on Elephant / Jeep ride the former capital of the royal Rajputs. Set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake, and its sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding hills. Our guide will elaborate on the history of this architectural masterpiece with its mirror-studded alcoves, dazzling mosaics and water-cooled swings that delight today's visitors as they did their former royal residents. Afternoon, visit Jaipur City: <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AU2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Hawa Mahal</a> or Palace of the Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. We proceed for a guided tour of the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AN2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">City Palace</a> & Observatory. Next stop is Solar Observatory - an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that gives accurate predictions till date. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Ranakpur - Udaipur

After breakfast, drive to Agra, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri: A fascinating ghost town, lies a little beyond Agra the deserted Red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Set like a jewel in a courtyard of pink sandstone is the marble tomb of the Saint Salim Chisti and other attractions within the town. After visit proceed to Agra. Afternoon visit <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a> and Agra Fort, <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a>: Agra is the city of the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a>, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. At sun rise we visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a> to witness this spectacular monument built for love. Besides perfect symmetry in every aspect of its construction, the inlay work of semi-precious stones into marble in pietra dura style is absolutely remarkable. After Lunch Leave Agra. Dinner at local restaurant. Later transfer to International Airport.
