Day 1: Delhi

Arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. After completing immigration and customs formalities, you will be met by our representative who will assist you to a vehicle for your transfer to the Hotel. After breakfast, head down to the Hotel's lobby.

 
By 12 PM (approximately), you will start an afternoon tour of New Delhi
 
In New Delhi, visit The <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7K','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Qutub Minar</a>, The <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7M','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">India Gate</a> (War Memorial), and the President's house (Rashtrapati Bhawan). You will have an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning you will tour Old Delhi, a striking contrast to New Delhi. Made up of thousands of narrow streets often crowded by a variety of people, and historic bazaars, Old Delhi promises to be an interesting experience.

 
Here, you will visit the historic <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A7J','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Red Fort</a>, and The Jama Masjid (The largest mosque in India), which are amongst the greatest examples of the Mughal architecture.
 
This will be followed by a brief stop at <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'RGH','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Raj Ghat</a> - Mahatma Gandhi's memorial. The highlight of the tour, however, will be a walk through <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'CNC','DEL','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Chandni Chowk</a> (Silver Square), the main shopping street of old Delhi, and a legacy of the Mughal era.
 
This afternoon, accompanied by your tour guide, you will also get the opportunity to go shopping, You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Varanasi

By approximately 8:25 AM, be ready in the Hotel's lobby for your transfer to the airport.

 
You will travel from Delhi to Varanasi by Jet Airways flight # 723.
 
The flight will depart at 10:40 AM (Approximately). The total flying time is 1 hour, 15 minutes. (Approximately)
 
You will arrive at Varanasi by 11:55 AM (Approximately). After collecting your luggage, you will be met outside the baggage claim area by your local guide, and will be escorted to a vehicle for your transfer to the Hotel.
 
In the afternoon, you will explore the old city of Varanasi on foot. Here you will find not only a twisted maze of small streets and narrow alleys, but also numerous shrines and pilgrim centers.
 
A hub of firmly rooted traditions, during your walk in old Varanasi, you will see marriage processions and funeral processions, as well as several ascetics.
 
In the evening, your guide will take you to the Ganges to see the aarti (A loud recital of spiritual songs).

Day 4: Varanasi

At dawn, a boat will take you along the bathing Ghats on the holy river Ganges. On these banks, you will witness rites of prayer and devotion that are thousands of years old.

 
The highlight of the tour though will be the views of the city from the water, which are said to be both mysterious and magical in equal measures.
 
After the boat ride, you will return to the hotel for breakfast.
 
Afterwards, you will tour the city's temples and The Banaras Hindu University (Do not forget to see University museum's superb collection of Nicholas Roerich's paintings of the Himalayas). This will be followed by a visit to the Gyanvapi Mosque and the Dasashwarmedh Ghat.
 
Later in the afternoon, you will visit the buried city of Sarnath, where Buddha revealed his doctrine and founded his monastic community.
 
You will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5: Varanasi

By 10:15 AM (approximately), be ready in your hotel lobby for your transfer to the airport.

 
You will travel from Varanasi to Khajuraho by Jet Airways flight # 723.
 
The flight will depart at 12:25 PM from Varanasi, and has a Total flying time: 50 minutes (approximately).
 
You will arrive at Khajuraho. After collecting your luggage, you will be met by your guide and escorted to a vehicle for your transfer to the Hotel.
 
You will later visit the famous temple complex of Khajuraho. You will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 6: Varanasi - Khajuraho

You will be requested to assemble in the Hotel's lobby by approximately 9:30 AM. You will then drive to Jhansi by road. The 110-mile drive takes approximately 4 hours.

 
En-route to Agra, visit the Orcha Temples in Orcha, including the famous Raja Ram Temple.
 
Next, you will travel to the Jhansi railway station. From here, you will take the New Delhi Shatabdi train to Agra. This train departs by 5:55 PM Depart (approximately). The journey takes about 2 hours, 20 minutes. By 8:25 PM (approximately), you will arrive at the Agra Cantonment railway station. You will be met by your local driver and will be escorted to a vehicle for your transfer to Agra. This drive will take about 20 minutes.
 
Please take note: There will be assistance on arrival and during transfer to hotel. You will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 7: Khajuraho

You will visit the beautiful <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a> during sunrise. Later travel by Tongas (horse carriage) to the massive Agra Fort. From the fort, you can also enjoy scenic views of the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a>. but also observe the elegant buildings inside, which reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles -- a contrast to the unique Mughal style that emerged during this period.

 
In the evening, you will head out to see the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A09','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Taj Mahal</a> again. This time though, it will be in the evening light. You will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 8: Khajuraho - Jhansi

You will leave for Alwar by 8 AM (Approximately). The drive by road takes nearly 4 hours.

 
En-route you will visit <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'A11','AGR','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Fatehpur Sikri</a>, a hilltop ghost fortress and the site of the mausoleum of Salim Chisti (a medieval Muslim saint). Make a wish at his tomb, and it is said that is often granted.
 
At Alwar (in the afternoon), you will visit a traditional Meena Village. Unique to the region, the Meena are a tribe, renowned for their colorful dress, jewelry and crafts.
 
In the evening,you will enjoy a session of fire meditation. This will focus the mind through the continuous rhythm of mantra chanting and offering to fire.
 
You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Jhansi - Agra

At approximately 10:30 AM depart for Bhangarh, a medieval site of a great archaeological importance. According to local villagers, its splendid ruins are haunted. You will also visit the Ajabgarh Fort

 
You will enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to the hotel by around 2:00 PM.
 
By 3:30 PM you will travel to the surrounding Meena villages. Here you will interact with the locals and attend a special evening function, where a tribal priest will conduct the prayers.
 
You will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 10: Agra

You will start by 9:00 AM for your overland journey to Jaipur. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours.

 
Jaipur is one of the main centers for shopping in India with its teeming markets. You will visit one of these markets for shopping.
 
There will be an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 11: Agra

This morning you will drive to <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AT2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Amber Fort</a>. You will get the opportunity to ride up fort's ramparts on gaily-caparisoned elephants- true to the style of the Maharajas of the past.

 
In the afternoon, you will visit the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AN2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">City Palace</a>, the Jantar Mantar; and the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AU2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Hawa Mahal</a>. The <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AN2','JAI','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">City Palace</a> in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture..
 
There will be an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 12: Agra - Alwar

You will depart for Udaipur by 9:00 AM approximately. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours.

 
On arrival, you will check-in at your hotel.
 
There will be an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 13: Alwar

In the morning, you will visit the Eklingi and Nagda Temples.

 
Afterwards you can enjoy lunch at the Devigarh Palace. (Cost of lunch is payable directly to the Palace.)
 
After returning to Uduipur, you will visit the Crystal Gallery in the Fateh Prakash Palace. This amazing museum in Durbar Hall houses the world's largest cut crystal collection, with ornaments, fountains, vases, crockery, furniture and beds.
 
There will be an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 14: Alwar

On the last day of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi.

 
Upon your arrival at Delhi, you will be transferred to the International Airport for your flight back home or to an onward destination.
