Paro-Thimphu-Paro
Day 1: Paro
On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be received by our representatives who will escort you to the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon : Visit the National Museum ( Ta-Dzong ). On the way back from the Museum, take a stroll in the Paro market and along the beautiful Paro River. Dinner and overnight stay at Paro
Drive to Drugyal Dzong (a ruined fortress – 16 Kms away from Paro town).Visit the Rinpung Dzong. Afternoon: Drive to Thimphu (capital). The drive to Thimphu through the winding road along the Paro and Thimphu River takes about 2 hr. (65 Kms.). Check in at the hotel. After tea at the hotel, take a stroll in the Thimphu town.
Day 3: Thimphu
Visit the Memorial Chorten ( a huge stupa ). Visit the Painting and Wood Craft School where you can see the live work of traditional art and craft. Visit the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved. Visit the Handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts and crafts are displayed and can be purchased. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon: Visit Simtokha Dzong. Visit Tashichho Dzong, the main secretariat building. Visit Mini Zoo where National Animal Takin kept. Visit World largest Buddha statue located above Thimphu City and from here it is bird eye view of whole Thimphu City.Dinner and overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu
After an early breakfast, Drive to Paro you will enjoy short trekking to Taktshang Monastery. Tiger’s Nest.” And after visti you will have Picnic lunch at the Taktshang cafeteria. The round trip hike takes about 4 hrs. Dinner and overnight stay Paro.
Drive to Paro Airport and fly to Bagdogra Tashi Delek!
