It was built in 1891.It was originally constructed to serve as the First National Bank of Llano.Professor Badu and his family made a home of the Badu House and the building was passed down for generations.
This monument on the Courthouse Square was sculpted by James K. Finlay and sons in 1916.
The building was completed in 1889.
The museum features the history of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and World War II. The museum consists of the National Museum of the Pacific War, George Bush Gallery, the Japanese Garden of Peace, the History Walk of the Pacific War, the Plaza of the Presidents, the Surface Warfare Plaza, the Memorial and Victory Walls,studies.
