    Angel Fire is a village in Colfax County, New Mexico, United States.Angel Fire was named by the Ute Indians for the glow on the mountain tops at dawn and dusk. The town is located 26 miles east of Taos on U.S. 64, in Colfax County. Angel Fire is a year-round resort offering skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling or sledding in winter. The summer months bring opportunity for fishing, golfing, hiking, and cycling.
