Known as "COSI," this enormously popular attraction offers all sorts of hands-on exhibits, from conducting your own water experiments to creating a newscast to watching yourself age. Three movie theaters provide enough entertainment variety for the whole family.
Experience urban life and the decorative arts, as they existed in the second half of the 19th century, through the collection of the Sophia and Fernando Cortez Kelton family.
The 1989 Smithsonian Guide to Historic America describes this museum as "probably the finest museum in America devoted to pre-European history." The museum includes exhibits of natural history that reach to the murkiest mists of prehistory and studies of the early culture and lifestyles of the human natives that populated the region before the advent of Europeans on the continent of North America.
Situated on 24 beautiful acres, this park includes the resplendent Huntington Perennial Gardens, a fishing pond, basketball courts, a softball field, a playground, a picnic area, a recreation area, an amphitheatre, and four lighted tennis courts.
The central focus of a ten acre square, the Statehouse is home to the office of the Governor and the chamber of the House of Representatives. The building is an excellent example of understated Greek Revival style, with noticeable Doric influences, and is listed on the register of National Historic Landmarks. Statues and monuments of interest pepper the ten acres that surround the Statehouse.
