    Redding is a city in Northern California.It is the fourth largest city in the Sacramento Valley and the northernmost in the Central Valley.Some of the places of interest are the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay,Exploration Park,historic Cascade Theatre .It was listed on the California Register of Historic Resources on November 5, 1999 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 17, 2002.

One of the three major art venues in Redding, NVAL is a non-profit organization where artists and supporters of the arts come together to exhibit their work and promote the arts in the greater Redding area. The public is welcome to attend the monthly member meetings and take workshops that are offered by local artists.
Established as a National Park in 1916, this park showcases natural volcanic phenomena and thermal features. A variety of activities are available, such as 150 miles of trails, including the 17 mile Pacific Crest Trail, fishing, canoeing, and rowboating.
Scheduled for completion in Summer 2004, this unusually designed bridge, functioning as a sundial at one end and conveying a sense of weightlessness, connects the north and south campuses of Turtle Bay Exploration Park.
Once a thriving community during the gold rush years, this park holds many attractions. The county''s first courthouse has been turned into a museum featuring memorabilia of the gold mining days, the courtroom, jail, and gallows. You''ll also find the largest collection of California landscape art and Pit River Indian basketry at this park''s museum.
Designated as a National Recreation Trail by the U.S. National Park Service, this scenic trail offers hiking, biking and horseback riding within the boundaries of a lively city.
This magnificent museum complex features indoor and outdoor learning attractions, a summer butterfly house, live animals, an arboretum, and the Paul Bunyan''s Forest Camp.
This aquatic park features three giant serpentine water slides, a large activity pool, a white water inner tube river ride, and a children''s water playground.
