Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park maintains 15 restored buildings in the Skagway historic district to commemorate the Klondike Gold Rush from 1897-98.The park is also home to the Chilkoot Trail and White Pass. Visitors can attempt to hike the 33-mile-long Chilkoot Trail which begins at the Taiya River bridge.
