    Bukit Batok New Town is a new town located in western Singapore and within the boundaries of the Bukit Batok Planning Area. It is bounded by Bukit Batok Road, the Pan Island Expressway, along the western edge of Toh Tuck private estate, Bukit Batok East Avenue 6, Old Jurong Road, Bukit Timah Road, the north edge of Bukit Batok Nature Park, south edge of Hillview estate, east and north edge of Bukit Batok Town Park, and Bukit Batok West Avenue 5 back to Bukit Batok Road.

Opened in 1998 to provide “All-in-One Shopping & Entertainment Experience For The Family”, West Mall is a successful and established shopping mall located at Bukit Batok Central.

With 8 storeys in total gross floor area of 283,000 square feet (26,300 m2) sitting on a land area of 106,000 square feet (9,800 m2), West Mall houses a good mix of retailers from fashion and accessories vendors, jewellery retailers, gifts and specialty stores, telcos, cafes and restaurants, food court, 6-halls cineplex, post office, community library, music school, electrical and household store and a supermarket.

The latest addition to the mall is a branch of Subway, replacing Delifrance.

With the Bukit Batok MRT Station (NS2) at its doorstep, West Mall is also conveniently accessible by other forms of public transport and provides ample parking lots for car owners.
