    Shah Alam is a city in Petaling and Klang Districts in Selangor, Malaysia.Shah Alam was the first planned city in Malaysia after independence in 1957.Shah Alam is most famous for its mosque, the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque.The mosque has four minarets erected at the corners.

Malaysia`s first agriculture park was opened to the public since 1986. The 1,295 hectare of tropical rain forest and agriculture park is one of the largest in the world. Visitors come here to explore the many agricultural plants that are grown here. Paddy field is found here, so are cocoa trees, oil palm, rubber trees, coffee, coconut and other fruit trees.There are many gardens in this park amongst which are the Spice Garden, Ornamental Garden, Orchid Garden, Cactus Garden, Bamboo Garden and Mushroom Garden.
This is truly one of the finest mosques to be found anywhere in the world. Completed in 1988, its minarets, at 142.3 meters. Its graceful blue dome is also one of the biggest of its kind. Decorative Islamic calligraphy enhances the dome and main prayer hall, while the overall architecture integrates Malay and Moorish design elements.
It is the site of annual events such as the International Boat Show and the Selangor Orchid Exhibition. A delightful system of man-made lakes graces the town center.
The perfect family outing destination, Wet World Shah Alam faces the scenic Taman Tasik Shah Alam and was constructed to be child-friendly and user safe. Like bees to honey, kids living in and around the Shah Alam area have been attracted to this water park since its opening in 1996.Its range of water attraction includes the Fountain of Youth, Cascading Waterfalls, Neptune Challenge, Atlantis City, Big Splash, Lighthouse Escape, Tunnel Water Slide, and Treasure Island.
