    Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama and is believed to be one of the seven most sacred places in India. Ayodhya finds mention in several legends and stories including the epic Ramayana. The Atharva Veda has described Ayodhya as a ‘city built by Gods and being prosperous like paradise itself’. Hindusim isn’t the only religion that prospered here; Jainism, Buddhism and Islam did too and their influences can be seen around the town. Ayodhya is also the birthplace of five Jain Tirthankars including Adinath. Ayodhya boasts of a range of tourist attractions that are scattered all over the place. A majority of these are religious attractions. Scores of pilgrims visit these Tourist Attractions in Ayodhya every year. Holy Places in Ayodhya attracts a lot of travelers from around the globe and is counted amongst the leading Ayodhya Tourist Attractions. Hanuman Garhi, a temple in the central part of the city is a must watch while visiting this place. This temple is a significant place both in terms of architecture as well as religion. The Jain temples of Ayodhya are another big attraction for the tourists. One may also pay a visit to Kanak Bhawan, the temple that's also called Sone-ka-Ghar. This temple houses images of Lord Sri Rama and Sita dressed in gold crowns. Nageshwarnath Temple is another good place to visit.     Ayodhya has a humid subtropical climate, typical of central India. Summers are long, dry and hot, lasting from late March to mid-June, with average daily temperatures near 32 °C. They are followed by the monsoon season which lasts from July to October. Winter starts in early November and lasts till the end of January, followed by a short spring in February and early March with average temperatures around 16 °C.
