Description
The village of Alsisar is named after the daughter Alsi of a farmer who first settled in this town. Many princes and zamindars resided in this area as demonstrated by the unending row of deserted mansions lined up on the village street. Still richly decorated with well preserved paintings, these havelis are slowly getting a makeover and are slowly being transformed into tourist hotels. The Haveli of Indrachand Kejriwal is the largest of all in the town with two of the region's finest temples standing just a few metres away from the building in a well preserved condition.Location
