    It is known for its wide sandy beach which is claimed to be the world`s longest natural sandy sea beach.Cox`s Bazar is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh.Cox`s Bazar, sea foods,colorful Pagodas,Buddhist Temples etc makes it more popular. Its sandy beaches are renowned for taking bathing and swimming.

The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva.The temple is located at the top of Mainak Hill on Moheshkhali Island off the coast of Cox`s Bazar. Every year in the month of Phalgun,here fair is held which draw a large number of tourists.
